Weekly Meetings

A 'Programme Meeting' is held every week, currently on Thursdays at 11:00 AM, around the clerical table, to ask for members' input into the administration and management of Clubhouse as well as allowing members to raise issues of concern to them. One of the features of the 'clubhouse model' is that there are no staff only, or member only, meetings.

Currently, weekly meetings are scheduled in the Business Services Unit to discuss issues that may not concern members who work in the Hospitality Unit.

The Purpose of Clubhouse

The work-ordered day in the 'Clubhouse model of rehabilitation' is deliberately intended to offer to all Clubhouse members an essential involvement in the work of the clubhouse. The degree of Clubhouse's success depends on this contribution. By enjoying yourself with productive work in a casual atmosphere, you will be rebuilding your self-esteem.

The members' participation in the decision making for the operation of Clubhouse is also part of that vocational and social rehabilitation.
