Members And StaffPersonal EmpowermentThis is primarily achieved by the design of the work-ordered day as stated elsewhere. The extent of Clubhouse's accomplishments actually depends on the contribution of its members, but the members' rehabilitation also benefits from their participation in the decision making for Clubhouse as outlined below.MeetingsMembers are asked to be a part of the daily morning meetings where the tasks for the day are planned. Also there is a weekly 'Programme Meeting', and a 'Clerical Progress Meeting', to encourage members to have a say on the day-to-day administration of Clubhouse through to its long term vision. One of the features of the 'Clubhouse model of rehabilitation' is that there are no staff only, or member only, meetings. Members are always encouraged to raise complaints or bring up new ideas.
